A Story of Strength, Style, and Breaking the Rules

Dutch Bbby isn’t just another sportswear brand—it’s a movement. A rebellion. A story of passion, grit, and the relentless drive to create something bold. To understand Dutch Bbby, you need to go back to where it all started: the parking lot workouts, the Pain & Gain Army, and the bomber jacket that sparked a fashion wave. This is the story of how Dutch Bbby became a symbol of strength and style in the Netherlands and beyond.
It Started in the Parking Lot
During the COVID-19 pandemic, lockdowns shut down gyms, but people still wanted to train. If working out indoors wasn’t an option, why not take it outside? That’s exactly what Bobby, co-owner of Dutch Bbby, Pain & Gain, and Heat, did. He set up an outdoor gym right in front of his facility—seven shipping containers, a massive canopy, and a workout space that became the place to be. March in the Netherlands isn’t exactly warm, and at times, it even snowed. But that didn’t stop people from coming. This wasn’t just about fitness. It was about rebellion. A group of athletes, lifters, and fighters—people who refused to sit still—showed up daily. They weren’t just training; they were making a statement. This raw energy laid the foundation for Dutch Bbby’s rebellious spirit.
The Spark of Rebellion
The parking lot workouts were more than just exercise—they were a defiance of limitations. This gritty determination to keep moving forward, no matter the obstacles, became the heartbeat of Dutch Bbby. The brand’s ethos of resilience and boldness was born in those cold, snowy workouts, setting the stage for a sportswear revolution.
The Birth of the Pain & Gain Army
While the workouts were taking off, Bobby started selling merchandise, but not just any merch. He dropped hoodies, sweaters, beanies, and most famously, bomber jackets that would later become legendary. The standout piece? A black bomber with “Remember Who the F*ck You Are” printed across the back. It wasn’t just clothing—it was an identity. Soon, people all over the Netherlands wanted in. Requests flooded in from Groningen to Maastricht, and even internationally. Whether it was athletes, protestors, or just people who resonated with the message, the demand exploded. The Pain & Gain Army was born. This movement became the cornerstone of Dutch Bbby, inspiring a community that thrives on strength, defiance, and authenticity.

A Passion for Fashion Sparks Dutch Bbby
Bobby has always been into fashion. Levi’s, G-Star, high-end Diesel Industries pieces—he was obsessed with cool, well-made clothing. Even when life got busy, style was always part of who he was. Then, during a trip to the U.S., inspiration hit. He saw a bodysuit that blended sportiness with bold femininity: sleek, sexy, and powerful. But nothing like it existed in the Netherlands. Not like this. The idea stuck with him, but with Pain & Gain growing fast, there was never time to focus on it. This moment of inspiration planted the seed for Dutch Bbby, a brand that would combine high-performance sportswear with cutting-edge fashion.
The Moment Everything Changed
Fast forward to early 2024. The gym expansions were on hold—permits, locations, everything was delayed. That’s when Mo, his business partner, said: “Bobby, the merchandise. Shouldn’t we take another look at that?” And just like that, Dutch Bbby was back in motion. Bobby had been sitting on sketches and ideas for months. Now, it was time to make them real. The first call he made was to Hans from Octopus Promotions, the guy who helped produce the first Pain & Gain merch. Hans was more than a manufacturer—he had deep connections in fashion, music, and design. Hans introduced Bobby to René from Two Seconds, a specialist in pattern-making. Together, they refined the first Dutch Bbby designs, tweaking the fit, fabric, and details until every piece felt right. This collaborative effort marked the official launch of Dutch Bbby as a bold new force in sportswear.
Dutch Bbby: Built on Rebellion, Defined by Details
Dutch Bbby isn’t just another activewear brand. Every design is packed with bold details that make a statement. The custom coin emblem on the crop tops? That’s no accident. It’s a signature touch that sets Dutch Bbby apart. The premium fabric sourced from top factories in Turkey? Built for both comfort and performance. The bold cuts and rebellious aesthetic? That’s the DNA of the brand. Dutch Bbby is about confidence, strength, and not giving a f*ck about the rules. Each piece is crafted to empower wearers to embrace their inner rebel while looking effortlessly stylish.
The Future of Dutch Bbby?
What started as underground gym merch has evolved into a full-scale fashion brand. Dutch Bbby is bringing something new to the Netherlands—sportswear that’s edgy, rebellious, and unapologetic. The Pain & Gain Army was just the beginning. Now, Dutch Bbby is here to take over.
